I don’t want to be a part of anything that causes conflict
I don’t want to be a part of anything that starts a war.
(Dear Frontier, Post Capitalist Prayer)
Nicole Beutler was invited by Frascati Producties to make a stage production with 15 youngsters between the age of 16 and 22. Together with Magne van den Berg they worked on a musical dance production where the performers form one community, one choir that speaks with one voice. They are bright and motivated. They believe in themselves and in human kind. Their idealism gives them strength. Their heroes are independant, playful, tough and realise their dreams. By commiting themselves these youngsters ask for love, beauty, nuance and forgiveness.
"The worst thinkable attitude is indifference, and say: I can’t do anything about it, I’ll be fine. If you behave like that, you will lose one of the most essential human qualities: the ability to revolt and the engagement derived from it." Stéphane Hessel
